Sinini Nyathi-Mati

With over 15 years of experience in the South African film and television industry, Sinini Nyathi-Mati is a force to be reckoned with in producing, storytelling, and executive leadership. A SAFTA Award-winning producer (2014), she has played a pivotal role in bringing to life some of South Africa’s most acclaimed productions, including Umkhokha, Sibongile & The Dlaminis, My Brother’s Keeper, and Happiness Ever After (Netflix).

Holding a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from the prestigious London Film School (2004), Sinini has honed her craft in creative producing, production management, and storytelling innovation. Her experience spans across various genres—drama, reality TV, sitcoms, and feature films, making her a versatile and highly sought-after industry expert.

Currently serving as a Series Producer at Rhythm World Productions, Sinini continues to push the boundaries of storytelling, ensuring that authentic African narratives reach a global stage. Her tenure at Bravoplex Media as a Creative Producer further showcases her commitment to amplifying African voices with depth and originality.
