"Sebata: The Beast" is a psychological thriller that follows aging detective Mzi and his young, skeptical partner, Kgoro, as they investigate the brutal killings of young children. Though the murders appear to be linked to the sinister witch doctor Banda, rumors of a mythical beast, the Tokoloshi, cast a dark shadow over the case. Haunted by his mother's mysterious death, Kgoro is torn between his disbelief in the supernatural and the terrifying reality unfolding before him. As the investigation intensifies, the detectives encounter Philemon, a desperate man willing to sacrifice a child to save his dying wife. When another child is murdered, Kgoro becomes increasingly convinced that Banda is behind it, unaware that his fears are leading him astray. This gripping film explores the power of fear, the limits of faith, and the desperate actions one might take for love.
