Joy Dancer (Documentary)

South African choreographer and full body artist Gregory Maqoma reimagines the story of a 19th century Black South African choir on a tour through Victorian England in Broken Chord, the critically-acclaimed collaboration with composer and musical director Thuthuka Sibisi. As they travel across continents, Maqoma feels the lines disappearing between his own story and the choir's.
