Breaking Free

Lerato has endured an abusive relationship with Zulu for years, accepting her situation as an unchangeable reality. When she discovers she is pregnant, Lerato is driven to escape Zulu’s grasp and seek a stable environment for her child. However, Zulu refuses to let her go, leading to a violent confrontation. Their new neighbour, Pule, who witnessed his own mother’s death at the hands of his father, is determined to intervene and stop Zulu before he can harm Lerato.
