Maurice Muendo

I am a filmmaker who loves telling African stories in a real and meaningful way. My goal is to create films that connect with people, make them feel something, and leave a lasting impression. One of my latest projects is *The Date* (2024), my first feature film, which explores human connections and how life can be full of surprises. I enjoy creating strong characters and making stories that feel real and relatable.

I have worked on different films and TV shows, including *Wawu! That’s My Dress*, *Unspoken*, *Mum vs Wife*, *Rebirth* (a short film), and *Stringer*. Each of these projects has helped me grow as a filmmaker and improve my storytelling skills.
I also co-founded **Film Plug**, a company that produces films and TV content. One of our projects, *Green House*, was commissioned by Maisha Magic Movies.
